This is my personal blog, separate from my author blogs, where I discuss anything from sports to TV, whenever the mood strikes. It is still a work in progress, so new pages and features will be added as I find ones I like and want to offer
The Craft Beer of the Month section comes from my appreciation for well-crafted microbrews. A section discussing the difference between macro and micro brews is forthcoming.
I read and review books all the time, so I will always be reading something, and the "What I'm Reading" section will offer you a small taste of what I read.
I also offer a list of blogs where I visit from time to time, although not as often as I'd like, and a more updated list can be found in my corner of the Moonlight, Lace and Mayhem Lair (Our Lair).
Any images used in this site will come from my Literary Scene account on Photobucket, in an album called, "Images For Carries World." It is there, where I store the photos/images, I will indicate where I found the image.

Weight Watch
I stopped drinking coca cola roughly on October 16th, 2010. That lasted about 6-8 months. At first I limited myself to 1-2 cans a day, then I inevitably went back to my original consumption. However, on January 26th, I gave up soda completely (due to necessity). Rather than give up caffeine totally, I opted to replace my caffeine intake with iced tea and coffee. That seems to help offset the desire to pick up a can and drink. It's been just over a month that I've been soda free.
